I. Preamble
In order to ensure that processes related to data processing are fully transparent, Aquanet Hungária Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (registered office: 8623 Balatonföldvár, Budapesti út 72., company registration number: 14-09-316779, tax number: 26633507-2-14, hereinafter: the Company or Data Controller) hereby informs in detail the natural persons, economic companies, other organizations contacting the Company, as well as the visitors of the www.medencemester.hu website (hereinafter collectively: Data Subjects) about its data processing activities, the scope of data processed, the governing principles, as well as the legal rights entitling the Data Subjects and the methods of enforcing them.
The Company handles the protection of the Data Subjects' privacy as a priority and is committed to fully ensuring the right to informational self-determination. Personal information coming into its possession is handled and stored strictly confidentially, in complete alignment with the domestic legal regulations in force at all times and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR). The Data Controller executes all necessary and expected technical and organizational measures to guarantee data security and protect data against unauthorized interventions.
The Company reserves the right to unilaterally modify these Privacy Policy and Data Protection Regulations (hereinafter: the Regulations). By browsing the website, submitting an inquiry form, or engaging in any business interaction with the Company, the Data Subject explicitly acknowledges and accepts the conditions laid down in these Regulations and voluntarily consents to the execution of the data processing operations presented herein.
II. Purpose of the Regulations
1. The primary function of these Regulations is to guarantee that every data processing process carried out by Aquanet Hungária Kft. fully complies with the current data protection legal environment, with particular regard to the following regulations:
- - GDPR: Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (General Data Protection Regulation);
- - Infotv.: Act CXII of 2011 on the Right to Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information;
- - Fttv.: Act XLVII of 2008 on the Prohibition of Unfair Commercial Practices Against Consumers;
- - Grt.: Act XLVIII of 2008 on the Basic Conditions and Certain Restrictions of Commercial Advertising Activity;
- - Eker. tv.: Act CVIII of 2001 on Certain Issues of Electronic Commerce Services and Information Society Services.
2. The objective of the document is further to protect personal data processed by the Company against unauthorized access, accidental destruction, unlawful modification, or unauthorized distribution, as well as to encompass internal administrative and data management mechanisms into a transparent framework.
III. Scope of the Regulations
- 1. Temporal scope: These provisions shall enter into force on September 1, 2019, and remain valid until withdrawal or the official publication of the next modified version.
- 2. Personal scope: Extends to Aquanet Hungária Kft., its officers, all its employees, commissioned internal or external data processing partners, and any natural or legal person whose personal data are processed during the procedures recorded in the Regulations.
- 3. Material scope: Extends to all business, sales, marketing-related, and online activities of the Company during which personal data processing is realized via automated or manual methods.
- 4. Exceptions: The scope of these Regulations does not affect matters recorded in the separate IT Security Regulations of the Company, nor the specific internal labor data processing regulations applicable to the Company's own employees.
IV. Key Definitions
The interpretation of legal and technical terms applied in this document takes place primarily based on Article 4 of the GDPR, and secondarily based on the provisions of Section 3 of the Infotv.:
- - Personal data: Any information based on which a natural person (Data Subject) becomes directly or indirectly identifiable (e.g., name, email address, telephone number, residential address, billing details, IP address, or other online identifiers).
- - Data processing (Adatkezelés): Any operation or set of operations performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, transmission, dissemination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.
- - Data Controller (Adatkezelő): The natural or legal person, or organization without legal personality, who independently or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of data processing. In this legal relationship, the Data Controller is: Aquanet Hungária Kft.
- - Data Processor (Adatfeldolgozó): The natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or any other body that processes personal data on behalf of and under the exclusive instructions of the Data Controller (e.g., accounting service providers, courier services, hosting providers, or IT system operators).
The Data Controller guarantees that personal data are processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently.
